AND THE WINNER IS ...

Announcing the Golden Gyroscope Awards!

Well the time has come to announce the eagerly anticipated winner of the Golden Gyroscope for Spinning the Basi/Virk Trial the hardest in 2006. I have to admit when the amount of spin applied to this issue in the newpapers, on the TeeVee, online and even by the Attorney General of the Province is so great that we have to spend our time dealing with nausea from dizziness, it isn't easy to choose a winner. But then on December 27, once I had put bricks on the corners of the paper so it wouldn't spin, there was the headline in the Globe and Mail "THERE IS NOTHING TO THESE CHARGES."

Whew! "Switch to Blogger Beta!" they kept saying. "Last chance before you MUST switch!" they said on Sunday. So ... silly me ... I switched.
And got stuck firmly, couldn't get into the NEW Blogger, couldn't get back into the OLD Blogger. Woe was I.
Today a brilliant young bassoonist studied the matter for about 30 minutes. He found the problem. "Press the orange bar," he advised kindly.
Now couldn't Beta have said that?
And I wanted so much to bring you news of Koot's Gyro Award and ... you'll see ... the Vacuum Award as well.

Computers are quiite stupid and we have to figure out just what those zero's and ones are doing. In the meantime one often pulls out some hair or throws the thing out the window. I figure the origional design was to make iot impossible for average folk to get them to work so we would always need some techie
