Laila footnote: "sneaky of them to bury it in the weekend edition no? Since when does the RCMP hold press like this, about business matters, on a Saturday? Thats news to me.

"I havent found anything anywhere else to indicate this was picked up anywhere but the Province. I guess they can at least say they covered it."

Mary,I posted this today: http://lailayuile.wordpress.com/2009/07/20/the-people-who-ordered-the-records-destroyed-have-no-place-in-government/

It contains a story from the Sunday Province that says the RCMP announced a preliminary probe into the missing emails. This link is here: http://www.theprovince.com/news/Cops+launch+preliminary+probe+into+missing+Rail+mails/1805674/story.html

Complete win for the defense. Records of Premier, his office and Liberal ministers ruled relevant. Judge orders disclosure.

"...Canadian National shares rose today by $.97 or 2.2 percent, to $44.69."

Wonder what they're so confident about?

this is a scam of sort, they've had the hardrives since the raid way back in dec 2003,when they raided the ledge, and siezed the drives from collins and rieds office and then went to christy's houseand siezed her's how gullible we are to just go with what they say!

now the media's job is to make sure every ones watching while the stay the proceeding !Just watch!

Well, don't just sit there ... do something about it!

Write, phone, picket ... do something to push events in the direction you believe is better.

Many people are convinced that we wouldn't have got this far, if we hadn't kept asking the Big Questions ... and Shining a Light on the cover-up.

Good luck!

Paul Taylor is interesting and part of a previous round in the great cover-up. Emails from pilothouse read out in court indicate he had a close relationship with Pilothouse and helped them get a contract with the BC Car Dealers (taylor's former employer). When this came to light, Campbell asked Jessica Macdonald to investigate (after several bad question periods). MacDonald engaged KPMG to report, but KPMG never asked nor answered the central question: Did Taylor leak material to Pilothouse and its client Omnitrax. Campbell and MacDonald refused to release the full KPMG report and its terms of reference.
