A change of venue hmmm? How handy would that be? New judge, no doubt hand picked by the government...but that's not the main issue I have with it.
The one thing the public has been able to count on pretty much is the people who manage to make it to court and watch "justice" taking place from the gallery, then sharing their findings with the public. People like Robin Mathews. People that speak out against the crap they see happening - and taking those responsible for it to task. Changing the venue will make this whole sordid excuse for justice a much more secretive affair than it already is. I have absolutely no doubt that's one, if not the major, reason for the change.
I also have no doubt diving behind a wall of secrecy would be appreciated by both sides in this love affair with the tax payers wallet.
